There will plenty of guidance, plenty of space to try things and plenty of mutual support as we encourage each other in our explorations.
Bring your sense of adventure and any level of experience from beginner to advanced. This is not a technique heavy workshop. It is about exploring and playing with different materials, and having the right mindset to help you on the road to discovering your unique style.

Some of the things we will cover are:

• Collage mood board

• Daily art journalling practice

• Painting in series

• Learn how to develop your own style through experimentation

• Get out of your head and enjoy the process

• Many discussions on the mindset of an artist

• Play with lots of different mediums

• Disrupting your painting with collage

• Fast collages to help with composition

• Make a little handmade book from your “throwaway board"

• How to keep your acrylic paints moist in an airtight palette (you will take home this palette)

• Colour triads, learn how to discover your favourite colour combos

• 3 paintings in progress on canvas

• 1 community painting on canvas

  All materials supplied, including canvases, art journals, paints, mediums and much more

15 years and older, up to 10 participants

Payment options: Pay in full $650, Pay a deposit of $300 then 4 x fortnightly payments $95 each for a total of $680. It works out to around $75 per session.
