Am I a Painter or a Potter?

Do I need to decide at all?

Of course, the answer is a resounding NO!

I do not need to decide between the two.

The fact that I work in multiple mediums enriches my work. I explore fresh ideas in one medium which influences another medium, each one informing the other. Playing as often as possible, in as many ways as possible can really kick start ideas that otherwise I would not have explored. Sometimes I have no idea what I am doing but it is the doing that leads to new discoveries and happy accidents.

So, I will continue to paint and to pot.
